…And you can’t interview the celebrity….why?

I am looking for someone who can interview a celebrity and then write a story based on the interview. I will then use the story to accompany photographs of this celebrity for a magazine article.
- it’s NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
- Compensation: negotiable
I know a million of you will write back to me to tell me nothing is amiss with this ad. To me it’s kind of odd. Dude has picture of a celebrity. Dude wants the celebrity interviewed to accompany said pictures. If Dude can get the pictures, why can’t he interview the celebrity. This can mean several things:
- Dude is shy.
- Dude has no clue how to contact a publicist and request and interview.
- Dude was assigned said article, with photographs, and is looking for someone else to do the writing work.
I don’t know why but this feels odd to me. Anyone else want to try?

If I could get an interview with a celebrity, I would write the story myself. Who would need the picture?

I’m baffled why the photographs and the interview aren’t supposed to happen concurrently. Makes me wonder how old this photograph is, and under what circumstances it was obtained. I don’t read, or write for the tabloids, is it normal to do these things separately? Wouldn’t the interviewer bring a photographer if a photo was necessary, or have the celebrity’s publicist supply one?

It could also be that the guy can’t write, but I agree that pics and interviews usually happen at the same time.

I’d venture dude pilfered the photos and is now trying to get an in with a magazine. Dude cannot write anything but said ad.

I’m also thinking dude can’t write, took photos of said celebrity, and magazine said not interested in photos on their own… give us an accompanying interview and we’ll talk. OR photos are unauthorized/appear to be taken under murky circumstances, and magazine wants an interview in order to prove legitimacy of the photos.

Indeed, I’m becoming concerned as well. It’s not like our convivial host to be AWOL like this. I’ll hope for the best. Maybe he won the lottery and is currently on a cruise of the Greek islands, pondering his options ;)

Maybe dude got a restraining order against him when he took the pictures.
Yes, we all worry and are disappointed when CC does not post regularly. Does CC perhaps have a life?

Star, not to worry, CC himself made a couple of posts to the post about “I need a cheap editor to help kids cheat” from back in Nov. of last year. If you look in the right hand column —-> you will see the “Recent Comments” block which lists a couple of posts from CC before he shut off comments on that one entry (Laurie and I had a bit of a go-’round with the original poster). He mentioned he’s on hiatus, but if he’s checking the blog I would guess the hiatus is not due to anything too dire :)

CC, I do hope you’ll hurry back. We’re on assery-overload out here, it’s piling up in great drifts all around us… and we need our CC Coffeehouse (aka comments section) to congregate in. :::::muttering::::::: why would she need a sex therapist to write the forward for a book on counseling for ex-strippers? Maybe she meant to write “ex-hookers”? And why do they always have these faux French names?
