A Master’s in what, cheating?
"We are looking for a candidate (preferably with a Masters, or phd in the field of politics or history, but all levels will be considered). "
Are our Masters and Doctoral programs so inadequate nowadays a person who earned one of these degrees would actually consider taking such a job? For someone specializing in academics (read: term paper mill) the person who wrote this ad is actually quite dumb.
"We are looking for someone who has access to a good library and write some articles for us. Compensation depends on quality of writing, and all work goes through a rigorous quality control process. "
Oh dear Lord. A good library? Does that mean a PhD who lives in an area with a crappy library is not welcome? I’m more interested in the rigorous quality control process. If the person who wrote the ad is in charge of said quality, problems do abound. Here’s a person without a lot of faith in his hired PhDs and Masters Degree people. Unless they too purchased term papers, then that would surely explain a lot.
"To be considered, please be available immediately, and send your CV, and a copy of your degree (or proof that you are enrolled in a reputable institution) , as well as sample of your work (preferably academic research, or published articles) to debraking5@hotmail.com
This just gets better doesn’t it? A copy of the degree or proof of enrollment. Give me a fricking break. You’re being paid to help students cheat. Perhaps your standards are a tad high?
"We will put your work through vigrous quality control, and check to make sure there is no plagiarism. Expect pay of $10-20 a page depending on the project (and more once you have established your reliability and ability to handle more important tasks)"
Ah yes. Plagarism. The only people who seem to be worried about it are those who don’t pay a whole lot. Which leads me to…
$10 or $20? It would truly suck if I spent all of that time in school only to be paid a crappy $10 per page.
